Pre-launch validation phase. We're conducting customer discovery interviews, competitive analysis, and scoping the MVP. No code has been written yet, which means early investors/co-founders get maximum upside and input.
We're open to different paths: (1) Bootstrap with $0-50K friends & family, (2) Seed round of $250-500K to accelerate, or (3) Strategic partner who provides both capital and industry access. The right partner matters more than the check size.
Currently employed full-time but prepared to transition to full-time on Athlete Intel once validation is proven (3+ paying customers or clear investor commitment). Have technical skills to build MVP nights/weekends in parallel.
Three reasons: (1) Founder has direct access to target market and understands pain deeply, (2) Technical capability to build MVP independently without burning cash, (3) Already building similar business (Crypto Clarified) proving ability to execute from zero.
They could try, but: (1) We're building verified data moat from day one that takes years to replicate, (2) Our target is the 90% of players they ignore, (3) We're nimble and can pivot faster, (4) If we execute well, we become an acquisition target at premium valuation.
MVP in 6 months (sooner if we have developer help). Service business launch in 12 months. Platform features by month 18-24. This is aggressive but achievable given founder's technical capabilities.
Not yet - we're pre-product. But we can walk through detailed wireframes, user flows, and technical architecture in a call. We intentionally aren't building until we validate demand (lean startup methodology).
Initially yes - need to prove the model in one sport before expanding. But the playbook works for softball, lacrosse, soccer, basketball, etc. Multi-sport expansion is part of the long-term vision (Year 2-3).
